Located within N.J. Telfer Reserve, Bundoora Scout Hall offers a welcoming, versatile venue ideal for community groups, classes, meetings, and private functions. Conveniently located just a short walk from Route 86 tram or route 566/902 bus, the hall is also close to Bundoora Park Farm, Mt Cooper Lookout, and the Gresswell Forest Wildlife Reserve, making it an excellent choice for both local and visiting groups.

The hall is available for casual one‑off bookings or longer‑term regular hire, and is well suited to activities such as dance and fitness classes, martial arts, training sessions, workshops, meetings, and similar group uses.

Availability

Hall hire is available when the venue is not in use by the Bundoora Scout Group, Handfield Rover Unit, or existing long‑term hires. Typical availability includes:

  • Weekdays during standard business hours
  • Weekends
  • Extended availability during school holidays

Conditions of Hire

Hire of the Bundoora Scout Group Hall is subject to the following conditions:

  1. The hall may not be used for 18th or 21st birthday celebrations, schoolies events, commercial or retail activities, publicly advertised partisan political events, gambling, or any activity involving the consumption of alcohol.
  2. Birthday parties for older children or teenagers are only permitted where the young person is a current member of Scouts Victoria. Such functions must be open to a broad range of youth and adults and must be supervised by responsible adults at all times.
  3. The proposed use of the hall must not interfere with Scouting activities and must comply with all applicable Scouts Victoria policies, as well as any conditions contained in the relevant Council lease under which Bundoora Scout Group occupies the land.
  4. No part of the facility may be sub‑let, nor may a booking be transferred to another individual or organisation, without the prior written consent of Bundoora Scout Group.
  5. Bundoora Scout Group reserves the right to refuse or cancel any booking where, in its opinion, the proposed hire may reflect negatively on Scouting or the Group.

Venturers (ages 15 to 17) – Wednesday – 7.00pm to 9.00pm

Handfield Rovers (ages 18 to 25) – Thursday – 7.30pm to 9.30pm
