Scouts

Take charge of your own journey.

Taking charge of their own adventures, developing leadership skills, and tackling bigger challenges. For 11 to 15 year olds, Scouting is a constant round of adventure and discovery.

Wednesday – 7.00pm to 9.00pm

What to Expect

Adventurous Activities

Abseiling, flying, hiking, camping, canoeing, and fishing.

Leadership Development

Develop leadership and management skills by leading your Patrol.

Personal Growth

Editing your own film, discussing important issues, and exploring creativity.

Community Involvement

Gain your First Aid Certificate and help restore our environment.

Action Plus Adventure

"Action Plus" is the best way to describe the life of a Scout. Scouts have the opportunity to experience numerous adventures, discovering special interests and following them through with the help of Scout Leaders and Patrol Members.

At Scouts you'll become a member of a Scout Patrol and your Patrol will work with other Patrols to form a larger Scout Troop. Together you'll make important decisions, set critical goals, and depend on each other to succeed.

The Achievement Pathway

Follow the path up the mountain! The Achievement Pathway is your personal progression through the program towards the Australian Scout Award.

Our Promise and Law

The Scout Promise

There are two versions of the Australian Scout Promise. Individuals may select which version they wish to make.

Version 1

On my honour, I promise
To do my best,
To be true to my spiritual beliefs,
To contribute to my community and our world,
To help other people,
And to live by the Scout Law.

Version 2

On my honour
I promise that I will do my best
To do my duty to my God, and
To the King of Australia,
To help other people,
And to live by the Scout Law.
