1st Bundoora
Scoutmaster, Senior Scout Leader and Assistant Scout Leader
1963–1986
Donald Porteous became 1st Bundoora’s Scoutmaster in January 1963. He later served as Senior Scout Leader and Assistant Scout Leader, remaining part of the Group’s story into 1986.
He received the Medal of Merit in 1986. In 2004, Banyule District presented him with a fifty-year service award, celebrating a Scouting life that also took in Banyule District and New South Wales.
