Flexible Roles for Every Lifestyle

Scouting offers adults a host of rewarding opportunities to help make a difference in young people's lives. You're never too old to join the adventurous life of Scouting, even if you haven't been involved before.

Where else can you take part in abseiling, rock climbing, scuba diving, and countless other adventurous activities with wonderful company and low costs? Bundoora Scout Group Leaders have incredible travel opportunities and a supportive network of thousands of fellow Leaders.

Our Promise and Law

The Scout Promise

There are two versions of the Australian Scout Promise. Individuals may select which version they wish to make.

Version 1

On my honour, I promise
To do my best,
To be true to my spiritual beliefs,
To contribute to my community and our world,
To help other people,
And to live by the Scout Law.

Version 2

On my honour
I promise that I will do my best
To do my duty to my God, and
To the King of Australia,
To help other people,
And to live by the Scout Law.

Section Motto

Lead the Adventure

The Scout Law

  • Be Respectful: Be friendly and considerate, and care for others and the environment.

  • Do What is Right: Be trustworthy, honest and fair, and use resources wisely.

  • Believe in Myself: Learn from my experiences, and face challenges with courage.

Leader Training

The Wood Badge

The Wood Badge is the internationally recognized symbol of advanced training for Scouting leaders. To earn it, Leaders complete training and practical application to develop their leadership skills.

What Our Families Say

"The personal satisfaction of helping young people to achieve their goals is immense. You're never alone, with a giant, supportive network of friends."
