Book drives, bottle drives and Bundoora Fair
The 1st Bundoora Cubs were busy raising funds to buy urgently needed camping equipment. A recent book drive added $120 to their funds and the Pack welcomed unwanted paperbacks for the next one.
Their current effort was the sale of peanut brittle and Vienna nuts, while a bottle drive was planned for Sunday, 12 November. Scouts and Cubs would also run three stalls at the Bundoora Fair.
Recent activities had included a carnival fair night, a father and son night and a visit to the Palais Theatre for the Gang Show. The surviving clipping ends during its final sentence.
