Recognising dedicated service across our youth sections
On World Scout Day, 1 August 2026, Scouts Australia announced that Sally had received the Special Service Award.
Sally leads our Cub Scouts and also lends a hand with the Joey Scouts section. She helps young people settle into Scouting, learn new skills, and find the confidence to take part. Her support across both sections also helps our youth members as they move from Joey Scouts into Cub Scouts.
The Special Service Award recognises a noteworthy contribution to a Scouting role. Sally’s contribution reaches youth members, families, and fellow leaders across the Group.
