Recognising dedicated service to our Joey Scouts
On World Scout Day, 1 August 2026, Scouts Australia announced that Lyall had received the Special Service Award.
Lyall leads our Joey Scouts through their first years in Scouting. He gives our youngest members a welcoming place to try new activities, make friends, and grow in confidence. That work takes patience, preparation, and a steady commitment to each youth member.
The Special Service Award recognises a noteworthy contribution to a Scouting role. Lyall’s service supports our Joey Scout section and helps families begin their Scouting journey at Bundoora.
