Understanding Milestones
Milestones are the core of your journey through the Rover section. They recognise active participation in the program, as well as growth in assisting, leading, and reviewing activities.
Milestone 1
Focuses on Participation. Be active in your unit's program and experience new things.
Milestone 2
Focuses on Assisting. Help run games, activities, or short sessions for your unit.
Milestone 3
Focuses on Leading. Take charge and lead an activity, event, or major part of the program.
How they are earned
Milestones are built into regular section nights, activities, camps, and adventures. Scouts work through them by participating, assisting, leading, and reviewing their experience with their Unit.
Challenge Areas
Progress should include a broad mix of activities across the program, including outdoor, creative, personal growth, and community-focused experiences.
