The Pathway to the Peak
Map your own adventure. Track your progress, set your own goals, and challenge yourself as you climb towards the peak award.
Program Essentials
Introduction to Scouting, Introduction to Section, and Milestones are completed through active participation in the Joey Scouts program.
Outdoor Adventure Skills
Outdoor Adventure Skills are the link between adventurous activities and the youth program. They enable youth members of all ages to access the basic skills for a range of activities, and progress through to high skill levels across nine broad activity areas.
Special Interest Areas
Special Interest Areas encourage Joey Scouts to try new things and pursue existing interests. Joey Scouts set their own goals in one of the six Special Interest Areas, enabling them to design a project that interests and challenges them personally.
Joey Scout Challenge Award
The highest award you can earn in the section. It requires dedication, leadership, and a commitment to personal growth.
