Joey Scout Program Essentials
In Joey Scouts, Program Essentials are completed by coming to Joey Scout nights and taking part in the Joey Scout program. They form the core Scouting experience and help Joeys reflect on how they are developing.
Introduction to Scouting
Completed when a new member is welcomed into Scouting.
Introduction to Section
Completed at the start of the Joey Scout section, including during transition into the section.
Milestones
Recognises participation, assisting, leading, and reflection through the regular Joey Scout program.
Part of the regular program
Program Essentials are completed through attendance and active participation in the section program. They are not separate badge tasks; they are built into regular Scouting, with reflection helping each Scout notice how they are growing.
